Bagaman at sintamis ng halimuyak ng mga bulaklak ng ilang-ilang ang hamog na dala ng takip-silim, panay ang dampi sa pisngi at naghahatid ng ngiti. Subalit ang tamis ng mga ito ay biglang pumakla sa dilim, namutla sa nakabagbag damdaming balita, si Doktora Elenita Binay, ang maybahay ng ating Bise-Presidente ay nasasangkot sa karumal dumal na krimen ng pandarambong dahil sa nakakadiring anomalya sa pagbili ng mga kama ng isang ospital sa lungsod ng Makati. Siya ay ang magiging First Lady sa bayan ni Juan sa hinaharap sapagkat ay hindi maiwasan na magiging Presidente  si Bise- Presidente Jejomar Binay sa darating na halalan dahil karamihan sa mga mga Juan ay mangmang, madaling utuin, mabibili ang boto sa halagang isang kilo ng bigas, sardinas at kakarampot na salapi. Ito ay isang bangungot na pinupunit ang bawat hibla ng maka-pilipinong tradisyong naniniwala na ang ina ay siyang tanglaw ng tahanan ngunit sa yugtong ito ay taliwas, ang inang ito ay siyang mismong nagtuturo ng pandarambong sa kanyang mga supling.Ano ba ang maging kinabukasan ng bayan ni Juan kung ang kanyang magiging First Lady (Ina) ay isang mandarambong?  Isang malagim na kinabukasan kung kailan binubuwag  ang trdisyunal na paniniwala na ang pagnanakaw ay isang malaking pagsusuway sa batas ng dioyos. Tila bang tinuturuan ang makabagong henerasyon na ang pagnanakaw ay tama. Sa ganitong uri ng paniniwala na mismo ang ina ang nagnanakaw ay  hindi mabubura sa bayan ni Juan ang pintura ng kurapsyon.

Bilyones na ang kanyang nakulimbat mula sa kaban ng bayan subalit ang kasong inihabla sa kanya ay hanggang ngayon ay nakabinbin pa rin sa sandigang bayan o hindi masasandigan ng mga yaong walang salapi.  Ang mga mata ng  hustisya sa bayan ni Juan ay madaling matakpan ng salapi na ang lalong maghihirap ay ang yaong mga maralitang ginagatasan ng mga pulitikong ganid sa yaman. Dito ay naagnas ang katarungan dahil sa isang bulok na sistemang madaling matakasan ng mga kriminal ang pagka-kulong  gamit ang limpak limpak na pera para mapalawig ang paglilitis. Ang katarungan ay sumisigaw sa bawat sulok ng korte suprema na ang Demokrasya rito ay para lamang sa mga mayayaman.

Ang  mala-impiyernong  init ng katiwaliang kinasasangkutan ng Bise-Presidente ay tila rumragasang apoy na lumalagablab, patuloy na sinusunog ang kaluluwa ng bayan sa sulpuradong  mantika ng matinding kahirapan.

ALINGAWNGAW NG BANGUNGOT !!!

May  panibagong  alingawngaw na naman na  winawasak ang dangal ng bayan, ang alingawngaw ng karuwagan ni Bise-Presidente Jejomar Binay, sa halip na harapin ang Senado ukol sa mga alegasyon ng pandarambong  ay lumipad siya patungong Cebu upang  mangampanya ng maaga  para sa pansariling ambisyong pulitikal, lantarang niloloko ang taong bayan, inu-uto ang mga mahihirap, pinagsasamantalahan  ang kashirapan ng mga Pilipinong nagugutom dahil sa matinding katiwalian. Ito ay isang  nakakatakot na banta sa ating bansa sa gitna ng panteritoryong girian laban sa Tsina. Paano ba mahaharap ang bantang ito kung ang mismomg Bise-Presidente ay duwag harapin ang sariling problemang kinukutya na maging ang kanyang buong pamilya? Ang karuwagan ay ang puspusang pagtanggal ng dignidad at dangal ng bayan.

Noong nakaraang linggo ay matapang niyang hinamon si Senador  Antonio Trillanes para sa isang pampublikong debate, tiwala sa kanyang desisyon dahil ang batang Senador ay dating sundalo na ibig sabihin ay walang karanasan sa pag-dedebate. Subalit ay buong  tapang na tinanggap ni Senador Trillanes ang hamon at bigla naman umatras ang Bise-Presidente, marahil ay totoo ang mga akusasyong katiwaliang ipinupukol sa kanya, para bang takot na maibunyag ang mga nakatagong sikreto. Ang pag-atras na ito ay niyanig ang kaluluwa ng bayan dahil sa kulturang Pilipino na kung sino ang naghamon at siya namang umatras ay isang kahiya-hiyang asal, nakapako na sa kaisipang Pilipino na higit na mas matamis ang lasa ng kamatayan kaysa mawalan ng dangal. Nagkaroon ng nakakabinging hiyaw sa telebisyon, radio at social media, binabatikos ang Karuwagan at kawalan ng palabra de honor ng bise Presidente.

Ang mas nakakabaliw na panloloko ay sa halip na mabigyan ng katarungan ng Bise-Preidente ang mga mamamayang marangal na nagbabayad ng buwis na kung ilang linggo ng nais malaman  ang katotohanan hinggil sa kurapsyon ay bigla siyang nag-tago sa karatig probinsya at  pataksil na binatikos ang administrasyon na siya ay bahagi rin ng cabinete. Ito ay lantarang pagtataksil, buong tao siyan hinrap at tinanggap ng administrayon ngunit ang kanyang kanang kamay ay may hawak na balisong, sinasaksak sa likod ang administrasyon.

Panawagan sa buong bayan, pukawin ang makabayang damdamin, idilat ang mga mata, huwag hayaang masadlak sa bangungot ang bansa, isigaw sa mga natutulog na isipan, mag-himagsik laban sa katiwalian ng Bise-Presidente!!! Hindi nararapat maaging pangulo ang isang tulad niyang ganid sa yaman, hunyango at walang palabra de honor. Pagtatawanan tayo ng international community kung sakaling mahalal na pangulo ang taong may dungis ng katiwalian, sinungaling at duwag. Masasadlak tayo sa matinding kahirapan !!

Factual testimonies of former Makati Vice Mayor Ernesto Mercado who has been a member of the Vice President’s political inner circle. His closer ties with the Vice President makes him a very credible witness against the despicable accusations of corruption which he revealed in persuasive documents that were presented before the Blue Ribbon sub-committee, he testified the supposed kickbacks amounting to millions of pesos, the Vice President’s ownership of various vast tracts of lands in any part of the country, including a 150 – 350 hectares of hacienda in Rosario, Batangas.
Serious allegations of corruption hurled against Vice President Jejomar Binay were validated by the constituents through reading the authentic documents revealed by a credible witness but Vice President denied ownership of the property in Rosario, Batangas, according to him, these charges thrown against him were politically motivated to ruin his presidential bid in 2016, yet he has never answered or presented any strong evidence to nullify his ownership of the property and speak up to prove his accusers wrong, his response was to bring this case directly to the people, but time is running against him, day by day, bulk of evidence is piling up to validate the argument that he and his family systematically plunder poor people’s money at the expense of national development which buries this nation in the dungeon of extreme poverty.
With the advent of these scandals that plagued his office which ignited public uproar, the Vice President deliberately hesitated to face the Senate hearing, describing it as a kangaroo court where his daughter is also a part of the institution, amidst the mounting evidence accumulated against him, majority of the Filipinos yearned that he should face the Senate in order to give justice to the constituents who have been craving for the truth , but he has been very adamant to face the Senate hearing which the public considers it as an act cowardice and simply validates the charges against him to be true, thus; he does not possess the courage to protect the dignity of his family and therefore is incapable to rule this country.
Disgraceful corruption allegations against the second highest position of the political system have been dragging the whole nation towards political instability, intense distrust to the whole government which the public classify it as the lair of thieves, and the disintegration of political morality which the constituents perceive the whole political system as an institution of propaganda that promotes public officials’ self interested businesses instead of saving the lives of the poor masses from the murderous hands of poverty, therefore, determine bloody political upheavals from the leftist revolutions of the communists or the establishment of a military junta through coupd’etat.

POLITICAL DECADENCE

To begin with ,the magnitude of political earthquake that has been raging within the bureaucracy of the Philippines for several months due to corruption allegations being charged against the Vice Presidency magnifies the cause of an uncontrollable spread of poverty in the rural areas and the rapid rise of hunger among the poor people in the urban areas. The heinous corruption accusations validated the assumptions that funds that are supposed to address poverty, a dangerous social problem,went through the bank accounts of the Vice President and therefore an anti poor conduct. A horrible political reality which portrays the hazard of insatiable greed for wealth that buries the country in the catacomb of stinking poverty. Needless to say that the first victims of the aggressive poverty are the innocent children who are powerless to speak up for their plight. Street children are forced by a harsh reality to scavenge for food in trash cans in order to live, some of them are lured by the unscrupulous street monsters into prostitution unaware of the perils of AIDS,HIV,Gonorrhea and other sexually related diseases. Amid the unprecedented rise of poverty rate in this country, unethical politicians never created doable solutions to eradicate it, thus, testify an idea that politicians are more delighted if there is an increase in poverty rate which means that there will be more poor people that they can deceive for their own political ends.
numerous political figures in a multi-party system in the Philippines do not possess doable programs to address social problems such as the explosive rise of population, intolerable prostitution, gruesome crimes ,and unmanageable spread of poverty in the rural as well as in the urban areas, thus, ideologically bankrupt. Yet , they still win during national election even though they are not qualified nor have the qualities to lead this country towards progress. This is a very sad political reality which hampers national development , entombs most of the constituents in the graveyard of unbearable hunger.
Educated constituents have gone berserk with the advent of the exposed massive graft and corruption of the Vice President that has been rampaging on televisions,internet and radios. Protesting too loud but without a single clue of who is going to be blamed for the existence of this sad political reality. Vote buying in the rural areas is rampant during election since the agricultural workers who consist the majority of our social strata are very poor ,ill-informed and have a very strong distrust towards public officials whom they blame for their poverty. In some rural regions such as Ilocos and ARMM, voter’s right of suffrage is being curtailed through harassment and intimidation at point blank, but most of the poor voters resorted into vote selling in exchange for sardines, a kilo of rice and small amount of money than leave the polling precincts with nothing in their hands. They exactly know that politicians ran for public offices without plans to uplift the lives of the poor from hunger ,lead the agricultural sector towards progress, fight for the interest of the farmers but to enrich themselves for selfish glorification.

For the sake of the Children and for our country’s future, our future too, I appeal to Vice President Jejomar Binay to abandon his presidential bid for 2016. Have mercy on us Sir!!
“ Grabe na ito, sobra na, napakaganid naman niya sa yaman, sobra-sobrang pagmamahal sa salapi na sa bandang huli ay nanakawin lamang lahat ni kamatayan, sa kabilang buhay ay kahit isang sentimo ay walang maidadala !!!” Grumbled by an Eight year old lad which broke the silence between the fuchsia painted sky and the endless sea before us. His smile faded, the lines on his face showed intermittent discontent while the news anchor was reporting regarding the deepening issues of malignant corruption of Vice President Jejomar Binay, his two palms buried half of his face, curtained his disappointments. I could see vividly through his eyes the magnitude of corruption that was seeping like decomposing dead fishes through his membranes, all the betrayals and abuses that have been raping his innocence.

A life being disturbed by hunger.

He was sitting just right next to me, his mind was disturbed by the violence of self – serving demon : Corruption, while his powerless soul is perturbed by the fact that through these factual allegations hurled against the Vice president, the whole country remained silent, there was no clamor to unseat a thief who has been swindling for years and there was a total absence of a protest that would rekindle the spirit of nationalism. Tears began flowing from his eyes, quietly described that silence buried the country in total darkness that concealed the hands which plundered his dreams and grinding his hopes till becomes mud. The setting sun was turning red as red as his revolting emotion, I patted his back with a comforting smile.” When you grow up someday, try to make a difference, persevere against corruption and an endless wasting of natural resources such as land and Filipinos’ superb intelligence.” I told him, words ran between his sobs.

There was a total silence for a moment except the chirps of the birds and occasional rustling of leaves as the wind blew through the Talisay tree. “ Do not grow up passive like a burning flame hidden beneath the cowardice which was demonstrated by the Vice President , he challenged Senator Antonio Trillanes IV for a public debate to clear his name from corruption allegations but when the Senator accepted it, he backed out and that was a very undignified display of cowardice. This country does not need a coward Presidentiable in the middle of territorial disputes with China. Lad always assert you rights, stand up and die for the things you believe to be morally right, be part of a movement that could see the unrealized potentials of the Filipinos, do not abandon the dreams of this country, though millions of Marxists and Socialists died during the reign of klepto –dictator ship, millions of rightist soldiers died through coup d’ etat and yet the country remained swimming in poverty, do not stop moving forward for the betterment of this country and her people, after all you will gonna fight for your own future and for your children!” I spoke to him again, the clouds turned blood, my esophagus breathed exasperation with the Vice President’s deceptions and lies that exploited the country’s coffer and trust. The lad nodded with a newfound inspiration then went home when his mother called him up, resolute on working for his country’s future. Again he was walking back to his real world, ran along the dark alleys infested with shabu addicts, strolled with the prostitutes that sold their bodies and souls for survival due to hunger and walk along the pothole road due to corruption.

Ayon sa panayam ng ABS-CBN kay Bise-Presidente Binay , mismong iniluwal ng kanyan dila na siya ang may ari ng Hacienda Binay Sa Rosario, Batangas ngunit ng uminit ng husto ang alegasyong katiwalian, panay ang kanyang tanggi sa pag-aari nito, ito ay lantarang panloloko sa publiko, tinatanggalan ng dangal. Nilalaro ang kaisipan ng mga mamamayan ,sinasmantala ang kamangmangan ng mga mahihirap na mga magsasaka at mga mga manggagawa.
Ang katiwaliang kanyang kinasasangkutan ay isiniwalat ni Ginoong Erneso Mercado , matalik na kaibigan ng Bise-Presidente, may mga dokyumentong dala upang mapatunayan ang matinding pagnanakaw tulad ng mga Citi Bank at Hong-Kong Bank deposit slips na naglalaman ng milyon-milyong dolyares na deposito.
